It’s official, Internet Explorer has come to an end.
It’s hard to believe it has been over 25 years since the launch of Internet Explorer, which helped shade the world wide web that you browse daily on today. The General Manager Sean Lyndersay of Microsoft Edge Experience has announced that as of June 15th, 2022 Internet explorer 11 will be retired. It is officially no longer supported.
What You Need to Know
Do not fret, there are plenty of other browser options available such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome (our preferred browser), Mozilla Firefox and also Safari (for those Mac users). If you are still currently using Internet Explorer, the next time you open your browser it will redirect you to Microsoft Edge. You will be prompted to import all of your data such as favorites, passwords, and settings from Internet Explorer.
